Hungary to Host 2017 IBSA Goalball World Youth Championships

Budaörs, Hungary was selected as the site of the 2017 IBSA Goalball World Youth Championships to be held 30 June 2017 through 9 July 2017.  The championships will be organized by the Hungarian Paralympic Committee together with the Hungarian Handball Federation.  Budaörs, a neighbor city to the country's capital, Budapest, is the first European site to ever host this competition. 

The competition will be open to male and female national teams.  Competitors can be no older than 19 as of 31 December 2017.  Participating countries must be in good standing with IBSA and all competing athletes must be registered in ISAS, licensed to compete during 2017, and must be able to classify as B1, B2 or B3 athletes.  Classification will be offered for this competition.  If you have any questions regarding the ISAS registration process, detailed information can be found on the home page of the IBSA website.
