Young players training in Yerevan, Armenia.
The IBSA Football Committee wishes to remind all IBSA member countries that they can still submit a bid to host Under 23 world championships next year.

The first ever under-23 blind football world championships should be held some time in March or April 2018.

As youth development is one of the committee's priorities, it decided to put in place this new event on the IBSA competition calendar. The championships will be open to all under 23 players, with provision made for teams to include overage players in their squad.

Any IBSA member country interested in hosting the event should complete the application form above and submit it by July 30th 2017 to the IBSA Secretary General, Henk Van Aller, at secgen@ibsasport.org

For more information on the championships contact Ulrich Pfisterer, the chair of the IBSA Football Committee, at football.chair@ibsasport.org.
