The IBSA Goalball Subcommittee has confirmed that the following countries have qualified to take part in the Goalball competitions at the London 2012 Paralympic Games:

Men’s competition
1 - Host nation - Great Britain
2 - World Championships 1st Place - Lithuania
3 - World Championships 2nd Place - China
4 - World Championships 3rd Place - Iran
5 - Regional Champions Asia – South Korea
6 - Regional Champions Europe - Finland
7 - Regional Champions America - Brazil
8 - Regional Champions Africa/Oceania – Algeria
9 – Qualifying tournament - Turkey
10 - Qualifying tournament - Canada
11 - Qualifying tournament - Belgium
12 - Qualifying tournament – Sweden

Women’s competition

1 - Host nation - Great Britain
2 - World Championships 1st Place - China
3 - World Championships 2nd Place - USA
4 - World Championships 3rd Place - Sweden
5 - Regional Champions Asia - Japan
6 - Regional Champions Europe - Denmark
