IBSA Showdown has launched a call for bids to host its 2021 World Championships, the most important competition on the sport’s calendar.
The deadline for bids is 30 June 2020 and countries in good standing with IBSA can apply.
Bids must include a letter of support from the relevant member organisation, transport information for teams between the venue and airports, information about the facilities for where the competition will be held and a budget plan.
Interested Federations should submit a bid using the ‘IBSA competition sanction form - application for approval’ available in the document section on IBSA website.
The 2021 IBSA Showdown World Championships will be the seventh edition of the event.
The competition, held every two years and featuring individual and team medal events for men and women, was last held in Olbia, Italy, in 2019.
