The 2014 Asian Para Games, hosted by the Asian Paralympic Committee, kicked off last Saturday with a spectacular opening ceremony in Incheon, South Korea.

The Munhak Stadium was the venue for a vibrant and exciting opening to the games, which feature competitions in twenty-three sports and will see blind and partially sighted athletes from all over the continent compete in several disciplines.

The three IBSA Paralympic sports - Five-a-side football, Goalball and Judo - feature on the progamme and competition promises to be tough as many of the world's best athletes in the three disciplines are from Asian countries.
