Iran took the gold medal at the blind football competition last week in the Asian Para Games 2014, heldi in Incheon, South Korea.
Five nations took part in the competition following the late withdrawal of one team, and it was Iran who shone throughout the round-robin tournament, topping the table with ten points from four games ahead of Japan and China on five points. Japan went away with the silver medals thanks to a better goal difference over the reigning Asian Champions.
Hosts South Korea came fourth and Thailand finished in fifth place.
Top scorer at the tournament was Iranian Behzad with four goals.
