Update from the IBSA Judo Committee - world ranking list and World Cup in Hungary

Two female judokas in action at the 2014 Asian Para Games in Incheon, South Korea.The IBSA Judo Committee has released the latest version of the world ranking list, including points gained at the Asian Para Games in Incheon, South Korea, in October.

The next major event in the IBSA Judo calendar is just a few weeks away - the IBSA Judo Senior World Cup and junior tournament in Eger, Hungary.

The competitions in Eger take place from February 20th to 22nd, and the Senior World Cup is a ranking event towards qualification for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

In addition to the competitions, Eger will also play host to a number of related events:

- International refereeing seminar - February 18th - 19th. The practical part of the seminars will be held during the World Cup.

- International coaching seminar - February 23rd - 25th. The practical part of the coaching seminar will be held at the international training camp, to be held directly after the World Cup. The seminar will focus on how to teach B1 athletes judo techniques, and participants and athletes will also be given presentations on anti-doping regulations.

Events in Hungary will be hosted by the Hungarian Paralympic Committee with professional guidance from the IBSA Judo Committee.
