Goalball Action Continues at the 2015 IBSA World Youth Games

The second day of the 2015 IBSA World Youth Goalball Championships (Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA) is now in the record books.

Germany continues to dominate the boy's competition, adding wins against Sweden (14-5) and Korea (13-5).  They remain undefeated in competition.

The girls from the United States are also undefeated, notching two wins agains China (7-1) and Canada (3-2).  

Despite those strong performances, there are many teams still ready to take top tournament honours.

Boys

Hungary 12 - Korea 7
USA 10 - Canada 5
Germany 14 - Sweden 5
Sweden 13- USA 8
Germany 13 - Korea 5

Girls

USA 7 - China 1
Germany 4 - Canada 4
China 12 - Korea 2
USA 3 - Canada 2

Preliminary play will continue tomorrow and tomorrow's action will end with the boy's 5th-6th placement match.
